I was already for long pregnant with the idea for an own business. After the birth to my first child, I instantly knew I would not look for a regular 9-to-5 job. However, i had no idea what to do. Art and nature was what kept coming back, as that are my two biggest passions, but I thought I would never be good enough to make art to sell. There are so many much more talented artists out there. But somehow, over the years, the idea of selling my work must have sprouted in my mind, because one day I found myself setting all this up. I allowed myself no doubts, wrote to-do lists of all the steps to undertake, and told myself severely I would only be allowed to stop no earlier than 6 months after the opening of the shop - that was 4 years ago.
